Good inspirations in Scarboro’
Poems and Letters Written by Wilfred Owen 1917-18 in Scarborough
Sam Gray and Yvonne Morris from the Wilfred Owen Association will be performing a reading of poems and letters as Wilfred and Susan Owen. Wilfred and his mother, Susan shared a particularly strong bond and close relationship, which will be explored through their own written words by Sam and Yvonne, revealing their thoughts during the time Wilfred spent in Scarborough between November 1917 and August 1918.
The reading will be accompanied by a projection of images of the Clifton Hotel where Wilfred Owen was billeted between November 2017 and March 1918 (then called the Clarence Gardens Hotel).
